Our official website for Our Local Crafts is up and running!! Our local business directory is growing slowly and by the end of April I hope to have it filled with businesses from all around the UK.

Over the next couple of months, the site will grow into a fantastic place to both advertise your business and your items as well as a great place to search for local craft fairs in the UK.
I will be setting up craft fairs around the UK myself but until then I will be listing events around the country to help you sell reach your customers locally and sell more items!

The website will soon have a shop, so that we can sell stalls for our craft fairs and show off our products, if you would like to be a featured shop or have a featured ad please contact us for further information and fees.

Our first Blog!
Hello and welcome to Our Local Crafts. We are a new UK based networking and advertising community with the hopes of bringing all you wonderful home businesses and crafters together and getting you the recognition and sales you deserve. Our website will be up and running in the next week or so (having a hard time picking a design theme!) and there you will be able to find information, advertise and get to know when and where local markets and fairs are local to you. There will also be advertising space available in the near future.
We will also be organising craft and market fairs ourselves in the near future in a bid to help people in there own regions find and sell products local to them, the internet is a powerful sales tool but there is nothing like buying in person!
We have set up our facebook page, where you can join up and get online networked. This is where we will be doing our general and region specific shout-out-athon's and where we will begin our show and tell product advertising.
